Fahd bin Abdulaziz
Fahd bin Abdulaziz Al Saud (1340 AH / 1923-1426 AH / 2005), the fifth king of Saudi Arabia and the first of them Atkhama for the title of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques. It is the ninth son of the sons of King Abdul Aziz males. He took over the reins of power in 21 Shaaban 1402 H, corresponding to June 13, 1982 after the death of his brother King Khaled.
His reign saw a lot of events, most notably Iraq’s occupation of Kuwait in the 1990 crisis, as well as the Iraqi – Iranian war, as well as the events of September 11, 2001 in the United States and the subsequent US invasion of Afghanistan and Iraq, as well as lower oil prices for many years.

In 1387 H, corresponding to 1967, he was appointed Second Deputy Prime Minister, in addition to carrying out the responsibilities of the Ministry of Interior.
On 13 March 1395 H corresponding to March 25, 1975 and after the inauguration of King Khalid Bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud rule successor to King Faisal was appointed as crown prince and was assigned the post of First Deputy Prime Minister.

The most important achievements:

He was buried in Al Oud cemetery, he took his brother, Abdullah bin Abdul Aziz Al Saud ruling as his successor.
